The struggle in solitude

is one which you cannot see

The struggle in solitude

exists in the midst of all of those around me

The struggle in solitude

is one that’s hidden well

deep within the heart on which sadness befell

The struggle in solitude

is tumultuous like the boisterous sea

The struggle in solitude

which befell me

The struggle in solitude

leaves one bereft

no friendship or love

The struggle in solitude is all I have left
